For the past 40+ years, a variety of different breeds of horses and ponies have been a part of our family for 4 generations. We have owned, bred and/or exhibited horses in a variety of disciplines, (from Rodeo to Hunter over fences). Arabians, Appaloosas, Shetlands, American Saddlebreds, Paints, and Quarter Horses have been a part of our life since the mid 1960s. And back in the late 60s, and early 70's we owned what was known as the "early miniature horses" that were also recognized for a time period as "midget ponies". In fact, our young children exhibited a B division miniature mare in the early 80s during the same time period that we were exhibiting our Arabians extensively on the Arabian circuit throughout the East Coast . Over a course of a decade+, we won several Regional, State Championships and National honors. Then in the late 1980's, as our children graduated from school, we began to focus on breeding miniature horses. |
| Unfortunately, during the 80s, locating affordable small "horse like conformation" miniatures was very difficult. Many of the early breeders had elected to focus
primarily on breeding miniature horses for "small size" with little concern for overall conformation or athletic ability. Thus, in frustration, we searched extensively to find breeding stock with exceptional movement, full size horse balanced conformation, willing dispositions and overall athletic ability. |

In the early years, we used a variety of bloodlines and registrations to produce a miniature horse that truly looked and moved like a full size horse. During this time period, we hardshipped many of our horses into the registry(s).

Today, our farm focuses on breeding miniature horses and classic ponies exclusively that have proportionate horse like conformation - Our goal is to produce minature horses that have elegant necks, level toplines, long deep hips, strong gaskins, showring alert dispositions, fluid natural movement, intelligence, gorgeous heads and eye-catching color. We produce miniature horses that range in size from 28 to 38 and the majority of our Classic ponies range in size from 31 to 40 - over 95% of our miniatures and ponies are double or triple registered to provide you with more options. |

More than two decades ago, we would often see an elegant full size horse and would comment, "Wouldn't it be great to produce that horse in miniature?" Today, we have many full size horse owners who visit our breeding operation. When they have seen some of our miniatures in action, they have often commented, "Wouldn't it be great to produce that miniature as a full size horse?" We are starting to come full circle.
We are excited about the future generations - both the horses and the grandchildren. |
