All horses are up-to-date on all levels of care – including farrier, dental, and vaccinations.

Buckeye Walnut Creek Farm takes great pride in sharing our farm’s very specific and dedicated breeding goals and objectives.  Overall we strive to produce affordable Miniature Horses and Classic Ponies in a variety of size ranges that are:

·        balanced, with structurally correct conformation with exceptional movement

·        intelligent and have a willingness to learn disposition

·        from well known bloodlines/pedigrees from proven National Champion lines or Champion and/or Hall of Fame producing Sires/Dams

All of our breeding stock are registered with either: AMHR, AMHA, ASPC, or PtHA.  Most are double and/or triple registered with the majority of our foals being futurity eligible in one or more of the futurities.

Just a 20% deposit will hold the foal of your choice until weaning.  Unlike many other farms that charge for boarding and expenses during the weaning period – we do not charge for these services - During the weaning period no additional charges will be incurred by the purchaser– we supply creep feed, worming and farrier charges for free! Further, should anything occur to the foal health-wise while in our care, your deposit is 100% refundable or if you chose, you can transfer the deposit to another foal.

Interest free terms are available with approved credit and a signed contract. We are glad to provide you with numerous references as well.

Our primary foaling season runs from February until May and our foals are weaned between 3 and 6 months (avg. 4 months) depending on their maturity – both physical and mental.

All of our horses are on a regular de-worming schedule (monthly for all horses from 1 to 12 months) and bi-monthly for mature horses. Mature horses are vaccinated annually. Farrier services are provided as needed with foals being trimmed monthly for the first 4 months. Dental checkups/services are provided bi-annually.

We encourage pre-purchase health examinations and we are glad to work with the veterinarian of your choice. Our farm location is convenient for shippers to access with any size trailer including a semi trailer.  Additionally we can assist with recommending dependable, affordable shippers.

If you are looking for a specific type of horse or pony, please contact us as we may have something available this is not yet listed that will match your description and if not, we will refer you to reputable breeders in the area who may be able to assist you.

Our sales list is kept current, and horses are removed from the list as soon as they are officially sold.  We reserve the right to refuse any sale if we do not believe it is in the best interest of either party or modify (change/delete) the sales listing.

Thank you for considering a Buckeye Walnut Creek horse/pony.  Your satisfaction is very important to us.
